Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil

Our award winning olive oil is of the freshest quality, certified extra virgin olive oil by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC), the olives are Certified Organic by Organic Certifiers Inc., and the olive oil is certified organic by CCOF. The olives are pressed within 24 hours of harvesting at Figueroa Farms in Santa Ynez.  Our grove is located in Southern California about 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean, 60 north of Los Angeles, in the Ojai Valley. The hot dry summers and long ripening time produce a medium robust olive oil perfect for all dining delights.

We, as a family, have been involved in farming since the 1920's, in cotton, alfalfa, and citrus mostly. We decided to branch off into olives in the Upper Ojai Valley in 2006, starting with 47 Mission trees planted sometime in the mid 1800's. To these we added another 250 Mission and 550 Arbequina trees. With our deep respect for the land and our future, we farm organically, producing a wonderful oil which is great alone or within any recipe.
